Well, I finally accomplished Yahoo Pipes! After my fourth try, wow! I haven't mastered it yet but I was happy to see some kind of results from all of my hard work. So, everyone reading this, must keep on trying. If I can do it, anyone can.

Week # 3
Welcome to OCLS Learn 2.0 - Week #3
In doing my research for week # 3's project, I've learned how to create an RSS feed using Bloglines. There is sooooo... much information to absorb, but in creating this and doing hands on, you can learn from your mistakes and then move on. It has been an enjoyable experience for me so far.
These were some of the guidelines we followed:
What is your learning style preference?
My learning styles are primarily Kinesthetic, but I am also a visual learner.
Is Learn 2.0 working with or against your learning preferences?
Learn 2.0 is perfect for me and I am enjoying the process.
Did Grokker's grouping of search results help you? Yes, I liked using Grokker because it hits the topics and groups them for you. I especially enjoyed the map feature. It also allows you to pinpoint your area rather quickly. It's different from a Google search in that you don't have to search very hard to find a topic and get lost in the process.
I enjoyed searching my topic in Grokker. I can't believe I have never heard of this search engine before. The map view is a great tool.
What sites did you select for your RSS reader?
I selected the following for my RSS feeds:
http://blog.ocls.info/director/
http://blog.ocls.info/DRI/
http://www.aboutdogs.info/
http://dictionary.reference.com/wordoftheday/
http://myrsscreator.com/members/computer.xml
Don't forget to check them out.

Bringing home my new "Puppy"
Introducing my nine week old puppy. How cute he is... He is so small and huggable at this age. His name is Shotsie.
Shotsie has been with us since December and has brought alot of laughter into our home. He is so fun to watch and train. Training has been an ongoing battle and we have been taking one day at a time. He sure is a handful. He also wants all eyes on him and loves the attention.
