Week # 6 - Expanding our minds

What I like about LibraryThing is that it's simple. It was easy to sign up, fast and best of all no one is trying to sell you anything. You are getting quality information, right at your fingertips. It also gives you a list of related books that you may check out at a later time, that is of course if you are interested in the subject. This is cool stuff.

Week # 4 - Yes, he made it on top of the bed.

Yes, that's the doggy, where he is not suppose to be...

The Web 2.0 video was fantastic!

This week is full of enjoyable reading. I have learned a lot of new things and there sure is a lot of new websites that I have never even heard of. There is a lot of information out there and I am amazed by the creativity and talent. It is all about sharing your ideas and trying out new things.
Back in the day, we use to create things with pen and paper. We would be creative in making our toys to play with, or playing make believe house, whatever the case may be. Today it’s computers: toy ones and real ones... All kinds of gadgets for kids and children to play with. What happened to hopscotch, jump rope and ordinary board games. Today you can’t register for a class unless you have a lap top. What a hoot!

I believe people enjoy coming to the Library, especially to ours, here in Orlando, Florida where the Library is Innovative, Fun, Interactive and most of all the people are friendly.
No, I was not at all surprised to see us on MySpace and YouTube. That's us, we are right up there with all of the latest and greatest technology. It is a great place to be!
On a side note, Three cheers to the Podcaster, what a great job once again!

Well, until next time. Keep those lessons coming!
